July 31, 2006 — Butech Bliss in Salem, Ohio, has received an order from Friedman Industries of Houston, Texas, to modernize a hot band skin pass mill for installation at Friedman’s new Decatur, Ala., facility.

The 84-inch mill will provide Friedman with the ability to skin pass a wide range of products at higher speed and with state-of-the-art precision. The new flat roll facility should be on-line by mid-2007.

Butech Bliss is a leading designer and builder of rolling mill and coil processing equipment in the United States.
