Carpenter Announces New Chief Financial Officer
Jul. 10, 2007 Carpenter Technology Corp. announced that K. Douglas Ralph has joined Carpenter as Senior Vice President—Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
In his new position Ralph will report to Anne Stevens, Chairman, President and CEO.
Ralph most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Foamex International, a leading manufacturer of flexible polyurethane foam for bedding, furniture, automotive, carpet cushion, and other consumer and industrial applications.
At Foamex, Ralph had responsibility for total financial operations, including accounting, treasury, investor relations and information technology of the $1.3-billion global company. Prior to joining Foamex International, he spent 21 years as a financial executive for Procter & Gamble.
Ralph holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Susquehanna University.
Based in Wyomissing, Pa, Carpenter Technology produces and distributes specialty alloys, including stainless steels, titanium alloys, superalloys, and various engineered products.
