Talley Metals to Raise Prices on Stainless Products
May 6, 2010 Talley Metals Technology Inc. announced that it will increase base prices by an average of 5% on all stainless steel products. The increases will be effective for orders placed on or after June 1, 2010.
Talley said the increases were due to inflationary pressures and higher demand for its products. The company also noted that all applicable surcharges will remain in effect.
Talley Metals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corp., produces and distributes stainless steel bar and wire.
