Tenova to Supply Roll Shop for Bokaro Steel Plant
Aug. 26, 2010 Tenova S.p.A’s Pomini Roll Grinder business unit recently signed a turnkey contract with Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) Bokaro Steel Plant for the supply of roll shop equipment for the upcoming new cold rolling mill (CRM) complex, which will have an annual production capacity of 1,200,000 tonnes.
This CRM complex will be situated in the existing plant in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand State.
The scope of supply includes three automatic CNC roll grinding machines, an automatic roll loading system, and roll and chock maintenance area.
The remaining ancillary equipment will also be supplied on a turnkey basis, in consortium with ARCUM Engineering Private Ltd., Kolkata.
