Ebner to Supply Bell Annealer Facility for Zhenjiang Lonsen Steel Strip
Jun. 1, 2005 - Zhenjiang Lonsen Steel Strip Co., Ltd., P.R. China, recently placed an order with furnace builder Ebner Industrieofenbau, Austria, for a Hicon/H2® bell annealer facility. The new bell annealer will be installed at a new rolling mill near Hangzhou in the Zhejiang Province.

Corus Koblenz Expands Hicon Heat Treatment Capacity
Nov. 1, 2004 - As part of an extensive investment program for 2004, the Corus Group has placed an order with Austrian heat treatment specialist Ebner Industrieofenbau for the supply, installation and commissioning of a HICON® batch-type furnace facility. The furnace will be used to homogenize aluminum ingots at the company’s Koblenz Works.

Ebner Supplies Vertical Strand Annealer for Jie Jin Stainless Steel
Nov. 1, 2004 - Ebner Industrieofenbau, Austria, recently received an order to supply a Hicon/H2® vertical strand annealing facility for a new stainless steel cold rolling mill in Taiwan. The order is comprised of a gas-fired Hicon/H2 vertical strand annealer to bright anneal austenitic CrNi stainless steel strip, and the complete strip handling section including the inlet and outlet loopers. The scope of supply also includes a degreaser and welding machine, and the appropriate drive and automation systems. Ebner bright annealing technology uses straight hydrogen as the process atmosphere, and features a vertical muffle furnace and variable flow in the jet cooler to achieve the best mechanical properties, cleanest surface finish and flat strip geometry.
