Morgoil to Help Automate Jinan Hot Strip Mill
Jun. 1, 2005 - Morgan Construction Co.’s Morgoil® Bearing Division has received an order from Jinan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., P.R. China, for its Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control (HAGC) Cylinders and Automatic Width Control (AWC) Cylinders. The cylinders will be installed in a new Hot Strip Mill that Jinan Iron and Steel is currently erecting.

Morgan Commissions Bar RSM for Echeng Iron and Steel
Mar. 1, 2005 - Morgan Construction Co., Worcester, Mass., is commissioning its first bar reducing/sizing (BRSM) mill installed in China. Designed and built by Morgan, the new mill was installed late last year at Echeng Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., in Echeng, Hubei Province, P.R. China.

Jan. 1, 2005 - Morgan Construction Co. has received three contracts from Siderúrgica Añón, SA, Spain, to design, build and install several modifications to its combination bar and rod mill. Two of the contracts are for upgrades to the existing bar mill, while the third is to make the rod outlet independent of the bar mill.
