China Steel, SMS Mevac Extend Partnership with Sixth RH Plant
Jul. 20, 2010 - China Steel orders a sixth RH plant from SMS Mevac. The order follows SMS Mevac’s recent installation of a 250-tonne RH Plant scheduled to be started up at China Steel’s Converter Plant No. 2 in the second quarter of 2012.

Dragon Steel Orders RH-TOP Unit from SMS Mevac
May 26, 2010 - Dragon Steel of Taichung, Taiwan, has awarded SMS Mevac a contract to supply a second RH-TOP unit, which is the expansion of the secondary metallurgical key equipment for the new BOF steelworks.

RH-TOP Unit from SMS Mevac Commissioned at Shougang Qian’An
May 25, 2010 - Shougang Qian’An Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., China, successfully commissioned the fourth duplex RH-TOP unit made by SMS Mevac. The new unit will mainly be used for the production of vacuum-treated automotive steel grades as well as silicon steels.

SMS Mevac to Supply Ladle Met Center for OMZ Plant at Kolpino
May 24, 2010 - Forpost Management has commissioned SMS Mevac to plan and deliver key components for a ladle metallurgical center that is to be integrated into the OMZ plant at Kolpino. The center will include a 120-tonne ladle furnace and two tank degassing units.
