George Kelk Corp., Canada, has received an order from Siemens Energy and Automation Inc., USA, for Monobloc Tensiometer Transducers, to be utilized on a reversing cold strip mill for Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. Ltd., China.

The Monobloc Tensiometer Transducers were designed to fit the space available in the mill, facilitating installation with minimal mechanical changes. Their single-piece construction and hermetic sealing make them resistant to water, steam, and corrosive mill lubricants. Full temperature compensation and high overload capability ensure reliable performance under the most demanding conditions.
