OSHA Fines Wisconsin Polishing and Plating for Health Violations Aug. 12, 2010 - The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Wisconsin Polishing and Plating Inc. of West Allis, Wis., with $75,400 in proposed penalties for allowing workers to be overexposed to chromium and chromic acid.

Horsehead Provides Update on Operations at PA Plant Jul. 30, 2010 - Horsehead Holding Corp. announced that the zinc refinery at its Monaca, Pa., facility remains on temporary shutdown pending completion of an investigation and assessment of the damage. It could take several months for production capabilities in the refining facility to be fully restored.
