Jul. 28, 2010 - U.S. Steel reported a net loss of $25 million on net sales of $4.7 billion for the second quarter, and a net loss of $182 million on net sales of $8.6 billion for the first six months of 2010.
Court Rules Against Delay in U.S. Steel Case
Jul. 27, 2010 - Canada’s Federal Court of Appeal has ruled against U.S. Steel’s request to for a stay in proceedings related to the company’s failure to satisfy commitments made under the Investment Canada Act prior to the company’s purchase of Stelco.

Court Upholds Canadian Law, Dismisses U.S. Steel Case on Unconstitutionality
Jun. 15, 2010 - A Canadian Federal Court ruling confirms the federal government's ability and obligation to ensure foreign takeovers of Canadian companies provide real benefits to the country, and dismissing a legal challenge by U.S. Steel, which had argued the Investment Canada Act's enforcement mechanisms were unconstitutional.
