BHP Billiton Appoints President of Stainless Steel Materials
Feb. 26, 2010 BHP Billiton has appointed Glenn Kellow as President, Stainless Steel Materials, effective from April 1, 2010.
Kellow is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of New Mexico Coal and has been in this role since April 2007, before which he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Base Metals from 2003 to 2007. He has been with the company for 25 years and has held a number of senior finance roles including Vice President Finance and Planning in BHP Billiton's Petroleum division.
Kellow and his family will relocate from the U.S. to Perth, Australia.
"Glenn's wide experiences across a range of products and operations will be of great value in the leadership of Stainless Steel Materials, and I look forward to working with him," said BHP Billiton Chief Executive of Non-Ferrous, Andrew Mackenzie.
Gerard Bond, who was the CFO of Stainless Steel Materials and has been acting President, will relocate to Melbourne and assume the role of Project Director in the Finance Group.
Jac Fourie will succeed Kellow at New Mexico Coal.
